The film special is co-produced by Alibaba Pictures and Canadian media company Entertainment One, making it the first animated cartoon in China that will feature an entire cast and live shooting. It will also feature several Chinese cultural elements.

Some of the things that will be featured in the film include a dragon parade, red scarves, fireworks and other good luck charms.

It will also include cast such as Zhu Yawen and Liu Yun.

"Peppa Pig" is a famous British animated series which features Peppa and her family's stories. Chinese children and adults love the series and many merchandise featuring the character is sold in Chinese stores.

This is not the first time Peppa Pig has been featured in a special series dedicated to Chinese culture. Earlier this year, a book on Chinese New Year featuring the characters of the series was released and how they celebrated the Spring Festival.
