Canxing Production's new show "Sing! China" has earned a record breaking-ratings in national ranking.

Star China International Media DGM Iris Xia has announced that "Sing! China" enjoyed a record-breaking first season, topping the ratings for seven weeks and amassing over 37 billion video views.

According to Hollywood Reporter that the Star China took more than 30% of the National market share that is five times second place show in the same place show in the same time slot.

"Sing! China" is a rebranded version of The Voice of China, is a reality television singing competition that hunts for upcoming singers with dreams to attain recognition in the Chinese music industry. It has four judges that would choose the contestants they desire to be teamed with and guide them in a series of competitions.

The concept and the stage design are based on the theme of "The War of Music".

Star China is in partnership with Talpa Global, the Dutch producer that owns the rights of the competition's format and famous turning chairs.

However, the relationship of two companies earlier this year were not doing well because the companies cannot seem to agree about license fees and terms.

On the one hand, Star China accused China of asking extremely high price for its fifth season, prompting it to make its own version of the show. While, Talpa said it owned the copyright and considered Star China responsible for declining to pay a reasonable fee despite the show's popularity.
