For most Christians, it is common sense that those who believe in God don't feel lonely. However, believers may have feelings of loneliness, fear or scare at certain times or when accidents happen.

Read and recite these ten Bible verses, which can help you overcome these negative emotions.

Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. 

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 

Deuteronomy 31:8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Genesis 28:20-21 Then Jacob made a vow, saying, "If God will be with me and will watch over me on this journey I am taking and will give me food to eat and clothes to wear so o that I return safely to my father's household, then the Lord will be my God.

Genesis 28:15 I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.

Jeremiah 20:11 But the Lord is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail.

Haggai 2:4 "But now be strong, Zerubbabel," declares the Lord. "Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land," declares the Lord, "and work. For I am with you," declares the Lord Almighty.

Isaiah 35:4 Say to those with fearful hearts,"Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you."

2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

Mark 5:36 Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, "Don't be afraid; just believe."
