The epistles of the Apostle Paul offer us prayers that we can pray over for our loved ones. They are effective, they are powerful, and they come straight from the Bible, so we know that these prayers are in line with the will of the Lord.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us-whatever we ask-we know that we have what we asked of him. -1 John 5:14-15
The verses let us know that if we apply Paul's words in our prayers for our loved ones, God not only hears us, but will answer us.
When you begin to use this when you pray, instead of "you," replace it with the name of the person to whom the prayer is being offered for.
