Will Justin Bieber Start His Own Church After Cancelling World Tour?

A new report suggested that Justin Bieber suspended the rest of his "Purpose" world tour dates because he is currently focusing on his faith and reportedly plans to start his own church.

The New Zealand Herald cited on its article from Australia's Today Extra that the real reason why the famous Canadian singer come off the road is due to his pursuit to reconnect his faith. Moreover, the online tabloid added that there is a possibility that Justin Bieber plans to start own a church.

 "Whether he's looking at teaming up with [Hillsong] ... or starting his own church, we're not quite sure ... That's the word from an inside source," the article reported, as allegedly cited by a source.

Justin Bieber is known to be attending the Hillsong megachurch movement. Even the famous Hillsong pastor, Carl Lentz, reportedly joined Bieber on his previous schedules for the "Purpose" tour. Bieber was also known to speak at different Hillsong conferences and shares his own Christian faith. The 23-year-old famous pop singer also quoted several worship lyrics on his social media account.

Bieber is known to be very vocal when it comes to his faith. During the "One Love Manchester" concert, the 23-year-old singer told the crowd that he will not let go of love and hope as a Christian.

The rumor about owning a new church came after Bieber's "Purpose" tour was officially cancelled yesterday. According to the official statement, the "Baby" singer will cancel the remaining of his "Purpose" world tour concert due to unforeseen circumstances.

"Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose World Tour over last 18 months," the statement read. "He is grateful and honoured to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across 6 continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates."
