A Christian actor and singer supported clowns to bring joy to Hongkongers.

Steven Ma Chun Wai attended the “Red Nose Hospital Clown Association” activity before his birthday in support of a group of clowns, encouraging them to continue spreading joy and inspiring others around, according to Ma’s Weibo account of True Star Group on March 20.

A netizen also posted a message on Weibo, China's Twitter, saying that Ma, who has always been enthusiastic about public welfare, participated in the clown volunteer group activity, playing games with citizens and enjoying clown performances for public welfare. The activity was held in an amusement park in Tuen Mun, with free performances for children and parents.

Steven said that clown performances could not only bring joy but also love and care. Many volunteer clowns are retirees who are overflowing with joy themselves and eager to bring joy to others. He believed this was very worthy of support. He hoped that there could be more joy in Hong Kong and that more volunteers would join together in groups to do meaningful things.
