Sichuan Luzhou Christian Church Passes on God’s Grace through Public Health Care

Based on the religious ideology of "Carry out the Christian spirit of fraternity, pay positive attention to the social vulnerable groups", Sichuan Luzhou Christian Church actively participated in social welfare activities including health care, alms-giving, preschool education and so on.
Sister Li Guangrong is a devoted Christian who unfortunately was diagnosed with advanced cervical cancer in May this year. With the help of the church and the therapy assistance of the hospital, Sister Li has been fighting the cancer actively and signed the Donation Volunteer Registration Form of Luzhou City, showing that she is willing to donate her healthy organs to other patients and her unhealthy organs to the hospital for medical research. "I want to leave my eyes watching this world and my heart feeling the heartbeat of the city." She said.
On Sept 12, 2016, Leng Zhangding and Huang Xiaoju, a couple from a poverty-stricken family in Gulin were discharged from the hospital with the company of Pastor Liao Ziaoqin and Director Qian Wanyong. Leng Zhangding's wife is suffering mental disorder with a gingival tumor which has seriously affected her ability to eat and endangers her life. On Aug 31, with the arrangement of Pastor Liao Xiaoqin, the Director of Luzhou Association for Poverty Alleviation and Development, Li Donglin took the couple to the Gospel Hospital. Both the husband's depression and the wife's tumor were treated for free.
