What does God says about working together? God wants us to practice teamwork.

4 Bible Verses about Teamwork

Here's the following passages and inspirational devotion from the Bible regarding teamwork:

 Ecclesiastes 4:9
"Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor."

When several individuals work together, they can double the work done. There are also many individuals who can reap the work done, thus creating harmony and double happiness.

1 Corinthians 12:14
"For the body is not one member, but many."

The Bible defines teamwork in the simplest form. The body of Christ and the people are a team. The body is not supported by only one person but instead of all the people; all of us. When we are one, we work stronger. Teamwork is also the key to living life in harmony, which allows us to do God's will.

Proverbs 27:17
"Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend."

In a team, someone must watch out for the other just like in friendship. A good friend is someone who always helps you, agrees with you do and say but is also willing to challenge you as a better person. In a team, a member encourages fellow team mates to be better players. Teamwork and friendship has similarities.

Ephesians 4:11
"And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers."

Each team has great players, some destined to be leaders and greatness taking the whole team to greater places. Teamwork relies on everyone's responsibilities and position. Everyone plays a vital role to make a work done successfully.
