Last Sunday marked Father's Day and this Monday honored China's traditional Dragon Boat Festival. Last Saturday, over 20 volunteers of the church in Linfen visited a local Christian nursing home.

Founded by a Christian couple over a decade ago, the nursing home has more than 20 residents.

The members from the church's fellowship for the disabled and charity alliance provided them with massage, haircuts, and programs including an allegro, a Beijing opera, hymns, and dances. They ate Zongzi, a traditional Chinese food made of glutinous rice, together.

Elder Zhang Xiaohua shared the blessing of trusting in Jesus with the residents, citing Psalm 23. She said that the visitation was an act of putting faith into practice. Twenty hymnals were given to the home.

In addition, the activity attracted some seekers who would like to join the visitation ministry.
