The Bible has so much to say about the sin of stealing.  God even made it as one of the commandments.

Read these Bible verses to learn more why stealing is a no-no.

1 Timothy 6:10

"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs."

Stealing just to have something in possession is evil. Sometimes, people go to the extreme and even forget the morals just to gain money. Remember that material things are only temporary and that we must take into consideration in making our relationship with the Lord better than hoarding Earthly things.

1 Corinthians 6:10

"nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God."

If you commit sins like stealing, you just lessen the possibility of being welcomed in the heavens.

Ephesians 4:28

"Anyone who has been stealing must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need."

Instead of stealing, God wants us to work hard and earn what we want by doing honest works. Believe that God always give the best rewards for the people who do good and commit their actions to God.

Exodus 20:15

"You shall not steal."

The seventh commandment forbids owning things that aren't ours. We must be contented on what we have and not do evil things just to get what we want or any possessions.
