Romans 8:18

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

The words "This too shall pass" is originally a Persian adage reflecting on the temporary nature, or ephemerality, of the human condition.

The human heart is roughly the size of a large fist and weighs between about 10 to 12 ounces (280 to 340 grams) in men and 8 to 10 ounces (230 to 280 grams) in women. In addition to that, the heart beats about 100,000 times per day or about 3 billion beats in a lifetime. An adult heart beats about 60 to 80 times per minute.

Unbelievable isn't it? How one small portion of the human body can ache just as much when we get hurt.

The heart, which is roughly the size of one's palm, pumps blood to our body and gives us life.  But Jesus, on the other hand, is the true reason why our heart beats.

The verse in Romans 8:18 talks about the hardships a person goes through when he or she experiences heartbreaks.

To be honest, a broken heart is not only the effect of a person loving someone having that person break his or her heart in return.

A broken heart can also be felt when you are sad because you are pitying yourself.  A failed test can break your heart. Sometimes, even an emotionally written song can also break your heart.

There are a lot of reason in this world that can break a human heart.

However, no matter what your reason is, you must remember that everything happens for a reason, and that Jesus has a plan for you which is far greater that you can imagine.

The sufferings that you are feeling today can hone you to what you will be tomorrow, or in the future. You just have to lay it all to God and have Him fix your broken pieces and make you whole again.
