How hard is it to know God's will?

To be honest, it's actually not difficult. However, the tricky part is this "how often do we follow God's will?"

We often ask Jesus to show us His will in our life, but sometimes when the will doesn't fit our taste, we disregard it and ask for another sign from God. In return, we just get the same answer that we asked Him.

People are born to be stubborn, but as the Bible says in John 14:15 - "If ye love me, keep my commandments."

So, how do we know God's will in our life?

1.        Communication

The best way to know His answer is by asking God about His plans in our life.  How? By praying, listening to your Pastor's preaching and sometimes, by just listening to a random Christian song.  Jesus is full of surprises and you'll be shocked on how He works in your life all you have to do is to ask Him.

2.        Keeping our mind clear

For us to have an awesome understanding about God's will, we must first lay aside every weight, everything that is bothering us and just focus in God.  Flooding our minds with what if's will not help us.

3.        Have Faith

Simple as that. The five letter word means so much to every Christian. In fact, according to Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

In conclusion, we may find it difficult to ask God about His will in our life and sometimes, when we receive His answer, we also find it hard to understand or to do. But, as we grow closer to God, we will know that He just want what is best for us.

Jesus doesn't plan to ruin our lives or to make us feel sad and lonely.  With Him, we will find peace and understanding and by doing His will, we are choosing a path that will lead us closer to God.
