Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

Storms come in all shape and forms, most of them are destructive and can leave everything powerless. However, Psalm 46 says the exact opposite about our fears.

Have you ever felt so afraid because the trials in your life are like a gushing wind, a hurricane, a storm that doesn't seem to pass?

We all felt that and to be honest, those days and nights are the toughest.  Every day, we are being tested, our faith is being tested and sometimes, we fail to look at God.

The scary part is that we often see the problem, not the solution.  We get so blinded by stress and other things that we've forgotten who can help us. We come to a point in our life that prayer is a chore and asking God for guidance is just another word we say before we go to bed.

However, as we study further the book of Psalm 46:10, it says "Be still, and know that I am God

How cool is that?

No matter how big our problems are, how strong the star is or how scary the situation is, we can always rest in God's promises.

Hebrews 11:1 says " Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."

Believing what we cannot see is having faith in God.  In every problem, there is always a solution, and when you cannot find one, seek God first.

Sometimes, Jesus gives us a storm that is too much for us to handle just to test us and to make our faith stronger.

The question is, are you willing to do anything for God's ministry?  No matter how bad the situation is, seek God first and everything will fall into its place.
