On September 11, 2018, the launch of the seventh "religious charity week" was held in Shishi, Fujian.
The nationwide week for religious charity campaign was first initiated by China's State Administration of Religious Affairs in September 2012.
The donation ceremony for nine charity projects was also conducted, including three projects funded by the Christian community in Shishi. Shishi Church donated 120,000 yuan to a community, while a senior association and the Shishi CCC&TSPM contributed 100,000 yuan to the construction of a primary school's multi-media interactive reading room.
