On September 13, 2018, the youth choir of Fuzhou Huaxiang Church held a praise and worship concert.
Rev. Chen Lifu, president of the Fujian CCC&TSPM, delivered a sermon titled "What Beautiful The Lord's Name Is".
Apart from presenting hymns and leading praise and worship in Sunday services, the youth choir, which was founded in 1996, often gives performances in other places. They also launched an annual praise and worship concert, and took part in the album recording of a Chinese Christian band. In recent years, a university music professor helps with the choir to play different types of music.
Today, Huaxiang (Flower Lane) Church serves over 10,000 Christians on Sundays as the largest church in Fuzhou. It was built by the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1915 as a "synagogue for social intercourse".
