Jiangsu Theological Seminary held a series of activities to celebrate its 20th anniversary from October 16 to 18, 2018.

First, a thanksgiving communion service was conducted to mark the anniversary. Rev. Zhang Keyun, the seminary's president, addressed that Christian theological education should be given through the big picture of a country, nationality, society or the church at the quality stage of the development of Christianity in China.

Since its foundation in 1998, the provincial-level seminary has cultivated 1,353 graduates, including 198 students with the bachelor of theology degree. Its five-year plan (2018-2022) indicates the emphasis will be put on training staff, enhancing education quality, and improving teaching conditions.

On the second day, the seminary released its emblem that has a cross above three petals of jasmine and the anthem named Glorify the Jiangsu Theological Seminary.

Subsequently, an exhibition hall that collects different kinds of crosses was unveiled by two pastors. In addition, an exhibition of the outcome of the construction of church in Jiangsu in the last forty years was carried out, including the social work done by the Jiangsu Christian Charity Fund.

The fifth theological symposium of Christianity in Jiangsu also took place during the days.
