Achieving your Goals the God's Way
By M. Grace, November 05, 2018 20:11 PM
We've read too many books about accomplishing tasks, being productive and achieving the goals you set for yourselves. Some authors would say you should do everything like shooting the stars when setting your personal goals. Others may say, you should have low and reasonable expectations. Some also say that when you write your goals, the universe will conspire and give you positive energy to achieve the goals.
And the truth is, these books have helped us to achieve some of our goals. It is really possible to achieve anything if you put your mind into it. But there are two ways in achieving your goals.
The first way is to achieve your goals by relying in your own strength. The second way is God's way of achieving goals. The second way is your humble dependence to God.
In Proverbs 16:3, it says to commit your work to the Lord and these shall be established.
Godly goal crushing begins by committing your goals to the Lord. It starts when you acknowledge that you are doing it for His glory. In the long run, you will realize that you can't complete anything without God's guidance and your divine empowerment.
It is more possible to achieve goals and also pleasing God. If we commit our goals to Him and depend on Him, He will be more honored. If we work using our own strength, we get the glory when we achieve our goals. If we work in God's strength, He gets the glory.
