The Key to a Busy Schedule

A lot of times, I have been asked by my friends how I juggle my work in between my church activities.  Most of the time, I only say that "mornings are for coffee and contemplation" or that "hermit mode is a key." However, I've come to realize that there's so much more than just drinking an enormous amount of coffee or hiding myself from my friends for a month or two.

While having my devotion, I came across this verse from Jeremiah 29:12 that says "Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you."

That short passage meant a lot to me, and as I read it thoroughly, I have come to realize that no matter how many coffee, how much I stay away from procrastination and from hanging out with my friends, there is nothing more effective than prayer.

A lot of times I have to finish a pile of tasks and handle my busy schedule, but prayer makes everything possible.

You see, when we pray, we call to God, and when we call to God, He listens. That is the beauty of prayer, it doesn't take much effort, we can do it anytime, anywhere any second of the day or just some random traffic, or a bus ride home.

Prayer is the key, to finishing a lot of tasks and having fun at church at the same time.  Without communication with God, we are like people who doesn't have any guidance at all.

Take time praying because you do not know what God has to say to you.  Prayer and Bible reading at the same time works perfect too!

So whenever you feel like you are in a slump, and can't seem to finish your deadline, or you're just in a writer's block, just ask God for wisdom, or just pray.

You never know what He might tell you.
