Dear Reader, you are created for the glory of God. Everything about you -  past, present and future - are meant to radiate the glory of our King. Christ in our hearts enable us to do so.

When we attribute the things that we do to him, we are opening up ourselves to God's divine intervention, and it doesn't matter how small or how big it is.

So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. -1 Corinthians 10:31.

Billy Graham says that, "Our voices, our services, and our abilities are to be employed, primarily, for the glory of God."

Life finds its purpose in this.

If we seek His glory, ultimately, we do our best because we put His name beside our work. Seeking His glory in the things that we do bring out the best in us. It causes us to become better, to strive for excellence, all that His name may be glorified and that glory is revealed in us.

The Apostle Paul writes in Colossians 3:23 that "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."

Who is God but the King of all kings and the Lord of all lords?

If we work hard to please our earthly leaders, shouldn't we strive all the more for our God who is the source of all blessing?

There's a song that goes like this:

Give God the glory,

give God the glory,

and he will give you the victory.

This is true.

King David gave God the glory when he faced Goliath and the Israelites were able to defeat the Philistines that day. In the same way, doing things for His glory gives us the grace to succeed. We don't work for ourselves anymore, we work for God, and He blesses the people who genuinely and sincerely seek to lift up His name.
