The passion of Jesus

Jesus was arrested by the Jews.

His trial before the Sanhedrin

Jesus found his three disciples sleeping in Gethsemane before his crucifixion.

Jesus was questioned by Pilate.

Jesus was ridiculed by King Herod.

Jesus carried the cross on his back.

A man from Cyrene named Simon carried the cross for Jesus.

A woman comforted Jesus.

Jesus entrusted his mother to one of his disciples.

Jesus was crucified on the cross.

His followers buried Jesus' body.

Jesus resurrected from the dead.

A woman anointed Jesus with a jar of perfume.

An inspiration came to a seminary's undergraduate student when she read the Gospels. She made Chinese paper cuttings to present a series of scenes of the passion and resurrection of Christ. The 14 cuttings showed the Lord's prayer in Gethsemane, his arrest, the trial, passion, and resurrection.
