Deng Zhihong is the most famous ventriloquist among Chinese and also a famous imitation show artist in Taiwan. He had become very famous even before his 50 and had hosted many popular variety shows with many famous hosts, such as Hugua and Caiqin. And in his 50, he started learning ventriloquism, which makes him come to the pinnacle of his career, to realize his dream of the childhood.
But few people know is that he was baptized as a Christian at 12. According to Taiwan's "Christian BBS newspaper reported that Deng Zhihong is a person in a plain appearance. He became a artiste for his livelihood and became famous by his hard-working and constant praying. In 2000, he decided quit from the imitation show which open a new gate to the performance of ventriloquism for him. Because of his success in ventriloquism, he was invited by CCTV, Hunan TV, and even had a personal show in Taipei.
Things do not go well all the time. Even Deng Zhihong was mocked to himself that he was considered as gay because his long time single which makes him feel regretful that he did not married when his father was alive. Before his father was alive, he told his father sadly that I am not a celibatarian, just not a lucky dog.
But God always does something beyond our imagination. The bad luck man fell in love with He Peiqi who was 12 years old younger than him and also a devout Buddhist, which became a block between their love. However, this March He Peiqi gave him a surprise call, telling him that I am baptized. A newspaper reported the situation at that time that Deng Lihong was fully touched when He Peiqi told him that God tells us to forgive others."Compared with her, a fresh believer, I am so ashamed." Afterwards, they visited the teacher in spirit, a famous Christian artiste Sun Yue, and they were blessed by Sun Yue. Finally, they got married. He also introduced their spiritual life after their marriage--praying together every night. "The sweetness of their marriage is beyond their ages." The newspaper concluded.
What beyond many people's imagination is their whirlwind romance and the registration of marriage. when the word came out, many medias in Taiwan reported the affair with the word 'amazing' and commented that Deng Zhihong was so lucky that he could found such a wonderful wife to end his single life in his 65. But Deng Zhihong was very grateful for hr known where the marriage came from.
Deng Zhihong and He Peiqi registered their marriage in June when he was 65 years old. On October 10, two lovers will hold their wedding in Taiwan Da Daocheng Presbyterian Church--a church with antique flavor, and make a promise of a whole life to each other in front of God and all guests.
Deng Zhihong said that he has no other good choose except two tenth day to hold his wedding." The double tens in Double Tenth Day like two crosses in Chinese characters. I'd rather to believe that it is the gift from God." For himself, "The wife is an angel sent from God to accompany me!"
