"Buddhism can't save people from sin nor lust." Sun Wenqing said.

In 2008 Buddhist Sun Wenqing met Jesus Christ accidentally. He was attracted by Jesus' love and then in 2009, he was baptized in Shenyang Dongguan Church. He said Christ's self-denial and sacrifice made him surrender to God. "There is no greater love than the love on the cross."

Born in the 1960s, Sun lived a hard life."I have been starving since I was born and I quit school when I was young. After my graduation, I was sent down to the countryside in the Cultural Movement. Back home I was unemployed. I suffered from all sorts of bad things," he said. So he had a wish and strong desire of becoming a men of wealth and  to live a better life since his childhood.

In 1984, when he opened a restaurant in Shenyang, the business went well. He was introduced to Buddhism by his mother-in-law. At first he thanked Bodhisattva for bringing him wealth, but when he gradually came into contact with the Buddhists, he found those Buddhists lived just like others, drinking wine, going to bath centers which provide sexual services, finding hookers even more actively than normal people. He didn't know what sin was and followed them.

"This is a place of adultery. Buddhism was not worthy of believing,"he later realized. He confessed although having being a Buddhist for 14 years, he had followed his conscience and joined in the philanthropy however he couldn't handle his conscience and also sinned and followed his lust. He did everything to get rich, famous and a high social status. It has been 14 years since he had last cried.

After knowing Christianity, he often burst into tears when listening to sermons and singing hymns. "Tears are one of the most precious gifts for it is not made of water but love." He confessed again and again, "'the Only God." Only Christ can stop the lust of a man's eyes, the cravings of sinful man, and the boasting of what he has and does."

His values are totally different after his conversion. Before being a Christian he made money to show off, buy houses and cars. "What would I do now if I didn't follow Jesus? I must be grumbling, enjoying services in bath centers, drinking wine and finding hookers. I wouldn't know that these were sins if I did not know God.

Now he reads the Bible and listens to sermons every day for he believes if he doesn't listen to God's word in a week, he may run away from Him. He confesses that  "God lifts me from the ash heap."

In 1993 he, as a merchant, founded a cemetery company. After his conversion, he invested money to rebuild the Dongguan Church building, which was finished in Oct, 2010. "Many people could support the rebuilding of the church, but God gave the opportunity to me. I was chosen by God and he prepared everything for the project. I ask God to use me to do more things," he said.

"In the two years of the rebuilding, I experienced many miracles. God blessed me so much with things that money couldn't give," Sun shared."What I think is to preach the gospel. I experience so many miracles. God loves me so much. I want to lead my wife, children, brothers and sisters and everyone else I know to know God."

As a Christian merchant, currently he has built a Bible-cultural theme park in Shenyang, another Bible-cultural theme park will be built in Moose Jaw, a city in Saskatchewan province, Canada at the end of 2016 to attract more people to know more about God.
