A website is already launched in Singapore and it is not an ordinary website because it introduces the China's new silk road initiative. The website which was unveiled on Tuesday aims to give additional information on China's one belt one road plan for the local companies that aim to benefit too out from the initiative.

Chinese Ambassador to Singapore Chen Xiadong has been reported that he attended the said launching of website on Tuesday.

"Through this platform we will introduce to our friends from all walks of life what the belt and road initiative is and what our next projects are. Our embassy's next important step is to push for the implementation of the belt and road initiative on local ground," Chen said.

"We will make this website a window to promote the belt and road initiative, and boost business cooperation between China and Singapore. The final goal is like what Chinese leaders say, that the belt and road plan is not a solo of China, but a orchestra composed together by countries along the new silk road," Chairman of Singapore Business Federation Zhang Songsheng said.

"China's economic growth may be slowing, but its "One Belt, One Road" initiative to connect Asia to Europe and East Africa offers new opportunities for companies across the region," Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Chan Chun Sing added.

"I think it's a very strategic initiative, not just for China but for the rest of the world, particularly the countries around China. For China, I have spoken about the advantages of this initiative and how it can alleviate some of the current challenges of the Chinese development.

"For the region, I think it speaks of tremendous opportunities for us to work together with China, the more integrated China is with the region and the rest of the world. The greater the stake China will have in the success of the region and the more we are able to work together, the more it bodes well for the region and the world economy." Chan further added.
