It come as a no surprise that Guizhou, a province in China is now a home to one of the largest artificial waterfalls in the world as it is known to boast the world's largest waterfall cluster.

The new 108-metter-tall waterfall cascades a new building in Guiyang, Guizhou called Liebian International Plaza which is 121 meters tall. This skyscraper is home to shopping malls, hotel and offices.

According to officials the waterfall show is not ready as always but will only be switched on for important occasions.

According to a report by a local media, a huge water tank on the ground collects and stores the water for the downpour and it will take two hours to prepare this.

The artificial waterfall is powered by four 185-kilowatt water pumps and one hour long showcase adds $118US in the building's electricity bill.

Guizhou, is now one of the China's fastest-growing provinces where several projects are under development. It is already home to the world's largest single-dish radio telescope and the world's highest bridge. Guizhou is also the first province of China to sign a hyperloop agreement, regarding the superfast "vacuum train."
