On Tuesday, Xiamen Airlines started their direct flight service from Fujian Province's capital Fuzhou to the French capital, Paris.
The flight - which uses a Boeing 787 Dreamliner - leaves Fuzhou at 12:30 am Beijing time and arrives in Paris at 6:55 am local time every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. The trip will take 13 hours and 25 minutes.
The new route is the first direct flight from Fujian to France, making Fuzhou the eight Chinese city that offers a direct flight to Paris.
According to statistics, Paris is one of the favorite destinations in Europe for Chinese tourists. Last year, almost 1.1 million Chinese tourists flocked Paris.
