Television Host Quan Yifeng's Daughter Admitted to Prestigious Beijing Film Academy

Singapore's local television host Quan Yifeng expressed excitement and happiness over her daughter after the 17-year-old Eleanor Lee was admitted into the prestigious Beijing Film Academy, which has produced known stars like Huang Xiaoming and Zhao Wei.

The said good news came a month after it was announced that she will be starring on a television drama with Hong Kong actor Leon Lai.

Former Channel 8 actor Peter Yu's daughter shared the photo of her admission card on her Instagram account. "You can try, but there's only one of me," she captioned it.

Lee first caught the attention of Chinese media and audience when she first starred in an advertisement of Apple in China last 2015. She currently has more than 1.2 million fans on Chinese version of Twitter, Sina Weibo.

Meanwhile, her mother also shared the good news to her fans and followers showing them how proud and happy she is as her mother.

"Congratulations, mum definitely believes and supports your decision! Beijing Film Academy welcomes you. You will be a University student in September!" Quan Yifeng shared on her Facebook post, as translated by Strait Times."You must know... mum waited for so long before this blessing finally landed in our laps. Thank you for being my daughter."

The said Beijing Film Academy, with 67 years as an institution, is considered to be the largest and famous institution in Asia. The educational institution is known to be including Chen Kaige and Zhang Yimou.
