A shocking photo of the martial arts legend Jet Li has been circulating on Chinese social media wherein he looks old and frail than his 55 years.

The said photo was reportedly taken during Li's visit in a temple in Tibet. The "elderly man" in the photos looks nearly unrecognizable to the actor of "Once Upon a Time in China, "The Expendables," and "Lethal Weapon 4."

Many fans from across the globe have voiced their concern about Li's ill health and have wished for his quick recovery.

It can be recalled that Li revealed in 2013 that he had been diagnosed with an overactive thyroid in 2010. He also confessed that while he maintains medication, the condition keeps returning. Aside from that, he also suffers from a myriad of other ailments and illnesses, many of which were brought by his years of doing film and martial arts. He said that the doctors stopped him from making more movies as he could spend his life in a wheelchair if he continues it.

In recent years, the martial arts legend devoted his time for The One Foundation. His last movie appearance was in Jack Ma's kung-fu film. Recently, he was reported to be included in the Disney's live-action adaptation of 'Mulan'.

While some have been worrying about Li's health, his manager, Steven Chasman said that people are just worrying about nothing.

"We appreciate everyone's concern. But Jet is completely fine," Chasman told USA Today. "There's nothing wrong with him. There's no life-threatening illness. He's in great shape."

Chasman added that the photo circulating online had been wildly taken out of context.

"It's one picture and people are making these interpretations from it," he said. "If you took a picture me at the wrong angle and wrong time of the day, I could look frail as well.

To prove that Jet Li is completely fine, he even sent this photo.
