Christian basketball star Jeremy Lin said that he tested positive for coronavirus during his quarantine period in Shanghai.

Lin posted on Twitter that he got infected with the virus while being quarantined in Shanghai from San Francisco “despite being vaccinated and having tested negative prior to departure twice”.

Receiving treatment in a Shanghai hospital, he presented mild symptoms.

The Christian celebrity reminded other people to get vaccinated and deal with COVID-19 precautions as soon as possible.

“I don’t know what God is up to but I’m reminded that I am not in control and that all I can do is trust and be grateful for what I have. I cannot WAIT to get back to training again,” he added.

He concluded with Isaiah 41:10, with a praying emoji.
