China's futuristic bus' production will start this week and is set for test drive schedule next month.

According to a report, the prototype bus is said to have a single car with 22 meters long, 4.8 meters high and 7.8 meter wide. It is described to be same with a train with four single cars being connected. Furthermore, Jinchuan Corp will be producing it initially.

The bus called the Transit Explore Bus (TEB) is designed as mentioned above, to be as a train but with a fifth of the cost. Furthermore, each of the futuristic buses is reported to accommodate 1,200 passengers.

The futuristic Transit Elevated Bus which was first introduced in May during the 19th China Beijing International High-Tech Expo exposed concept of bus passengers wherein it can be used to ride above while small vehicles can pass underneath it, thus helping in traffic congestion and solution to use of limited road space and reduction of air pollution.

Song Youzhou, the lead engineer in charge of the TEB project said: "The biggest advantage is that the bus will save lots of road space."
