Sister Deng Sanjie, 68 years old, has experienced many miracles. Despite limited education and a deteriorating memory, she often says, "I may forget everything, but I can never forget my Lord."
Her eldest sister had been ill for a long time and, after enduring great suffering, finally passed away. Deng knew that her sister had gone to a better place, but she still felt very pitiful, and there were many things that she couldn't let go of. One night, she had a strange dream. In the dream, God said to her, "I love your sister very much. She has no pain, and you should be obedient." This made her feel at ease.
When Deng woke up, she was astonished and began to reflect on the last moments spent with her sister. She recalled a conversation in which her sister had once expressed her wishes: "If one day we get sick, don't stay in the intensive care unit, and don't be resuscitated." However, her sister stayed in the intensive care unit for three months and suffered a lot. In the end, she was unconscious even after being put on a ventilator. After the ventilator was removed, her sister passed away peacefully.
Deng also shared the story of how her daughter was healed from a serious illness. "At that time, my husband was sick and lost his job. My daughter had just graduated from university at the age of 26. When she went to the hospital for a physical examination, she was found with a tumor and was on the verge of cancer."
It was around this time that Deng had recently become a Christian. Desperate, she went to a nearby swimming pool. Since the pool was empty, she jumped in, crying and praying for her daughter's healing. Later, with no other option, Deng sought help from the church, asking the brothers and sisters there to pray for her daughter.
However, there was no change in her daughter's test report during the second review. Deng was really devastated, but her daughter came to comfort her and said, "Mom, it doesn't matter. If it's really like this and my uterus is removed, I will still be alive. Why don't you take me to the church?"
Then the mother and daughter went to the church. The daughter specifically asked her to wait outside and went in alone. Later, in the third reexamination, nothing was found. After that, several half-year reexaminations were carried out, and there were no problems.
"I'm so grateful! Since then, I have completely believed in Him. When one reaches the end, one completely believes in Him."
Deng said, "I serve very little in the church now, but God doesn't ask us to do much. Instead, He asks us to live it out in our lives and witness the Lord. I will also try my best to do what I can."
Recently, she happened to go on a trip with her daughters and sons-in-law. Extremely happy, she said that she kept murmuring in her heart: "I must live out my life. Don't always be critical of the young people. And the children know that their mother is very kind, so I don't need to say too much." They spent a whole month traveling together, and the two generations got along very harmoniously.
She continued, "To lead people to follow the Lord is not about preaching, but about building relationships. You can't just rely on words. If you haven't established a relationship with them, there will be no interaction, and then everything you do will be in vain."
There are not many people in the fellowship group where Deng is. She said, "They are all more educated than I. Sometimes it's a little difficult for me to keep up with them when listening to their sharing. But after each gathering, sharing, and praising, I feel like I've been recharged."
