A Jiangsu church held the first Sunday service in the Lunar New Year 2022, distributing homemade red envelopes with scriptures.

On February 6, the sixth day of the Chinese New Year, in Xuguan Church, Suzhou, Jiangsu, Rev. Lu shared a sermon titled "The Way of Life", which explored three aspects: trusting, following, and honoring the way of life. The sermon was based on the scriptures of 1 John 1:1-2, John 6:68-69, and Philippians 2:13-16, and was then followed by a communion service, according to Suzhou CC&TSPM

As an activity with traditional Chinese culture, Rev. Lu and Elder Liu sent out red envelopes containing bible verses written on small pieces of paper, bringing the word of God full of new year flavors to believers.
