Last Friday, Shatoujiao Church in Shenzhen, Guangdong, hosted a themed charitable event titled "Encountering God's Grace in Disability."

On July 4, the church welcomed a special group of Christians—individuals with intellectual disabilities and their parents. Accompanied by pastors, preachers, and volunteers, they experienced a great time filled with laughter and touching moments, reported the hosting church.

Senior Pastor Rev. Qiu Quan shared a message titled "Encountering God's Grace in Disability," addressing questions raised by the believers present. He emphasized that every life is a unique treasure in God's eyes. Regardless of the differences with which we come into the world, His grace is never absent.

God never creates "defective products." Children with disabilities are not accidents but intricately designed masterpieces of God. His creation is diverse and even includes the kind of "broken beauty" beyond human understanding. People with disabilities have unique value, deserve honor, and are vital members of God's kingdom.

He continued, saying that disability is not a punishment but a manifestation of God's work. God entrusts these special children to us because He sees in our lives the capacity to carry His glory. Disability is not a flaw in life but a unique mark given by God, through which His distinct grace is revealed.

Concluding the event, the church presented gifts for the participants.
