Chengqu Church in Jincheng, Shanxi, launched a motivational meeting related to Bible reading and transcribing with a display of transcription. It was aimed to lead believers to the truth to be faithful and righteous and build their lives on God’s word.

At Chengqu (Cheng District) Church on November 17, Rev. Cheng Zhanghu, vice president of Chengqu Christian Council, mentioned in his address, "Jesus is the foundation of Christian faith and the Bible is the standard for Christian living," said Jincheng TSPM. He encouraged attendees to read the Bible diligently, be rooted in God’s word, and live a life that glorifies God and benefits others.

The Bible reading activity was launched citywide in August 2024 as an important project to build Christians’ spiritual lives in the church ministry. A transcribing outline has also been added to help believers better understand the scriptures they read. This copying initiative is voluntary, but it adopts a reward system. A total of 55 participants received awards during this session, with the prize being the Chinese Contemporary Bible.

One elder and two pastors presented the awards to the recipients. Following this, representatives from diverse churches shared their reflections on the copying experience, being grateful for God’s grace and guidance.
