On April 20, in celebration of Easter, Tianhe Church in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, organized a free clinic offering charitable health consultations and basic medical checkup services for its congregation.

After the early morning Easter service, the charitable event began at 10:30 a.m. and lasted for six hours, covering a range of specialties including traditional Chinese medicine, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and more.

Many believers gathered in the church square, where doctors patiently conducted examinations and provided professional health advice in response to their inquiries.

"I rarely have time for a comprehensive medical check-up due to my busy work schedule. This free clinic is thoughtful, and the doctors are very professional," said one attendee. Quite some elderly believers benefited from the event, with many seeking advice in areas such as traditional Chinese medicine and orthopedics. The doctors offered guidance for managing common issues such as joint pain and cervical spine problems.

As the largest-ever church in Guangzhou, Tianhe Church has been the first church to be established since 1949 (the founding of New China). With a construction area of 8,830 square meters (2.18 acres), it can hold 3,000 worshippers at one time. Known for its commitment to social service, the church regularly organizes charitable activities on major holidays, including visits to the elderly and support for students in need.
