On August 12, the 2025 Pastoral Summer Seminar for the Subordinated Churches of Ningbo CC&TSPM was held in Yuyao, Zhejiang Province.

According to Ningbo CC&TSPM, Rev. Zhang Yaobo, vice president and general secretary of Ningbo CC&TSPM, presented a report titled "A Summary and Evaluation of the Work of Subordinated Churches in the Last Half Year," highlighting both achievements and areas for improvement in church administration, ministry development, and believer formation. Rev. Chen Zhihua, vice chairperson and secretary general of Ningbo TSPM, delivered a keynote speech titled "Difficulties, Challenges, and Opportunities Facing Churches in Ningbo City," offering a multi-faceted analysis of current issues and practical recommendations.

On the second day, participants engaged in a thesis seminar, exchanging views on four core topics: theological and cultural interpretation of preaching, the connection between preaching and the spiritual life of believers, contemporary approaches and techniques in preaching, and the holistic mission of the pulpit and pastoral care.

The third day focused on group discussions addressing five key areas: overcoming development bottlenecks and advancing mission work, youth ministry and life guidance, the growth and professional development of preachers, life-shaping and care ministries, and the spiritual enrichment of worship and sacred music services. Discussions examined the challenges faced by Christianity in Ningbo amid social transformation, including the mobility of believers due to urbanization, the evolving religious needs of younger generations, and innovative evangelism in the digital era.

The seminar concluded with practical strategies and development directions to help churches adapt to the demands of the contemporary era.
