Jiaojiang Christian Pillar Church in Taizhou City recently initiated its "Love without borders -- clothing drive for the poor." It has sent around 22 big bags with more than 6,000 pieces of clothing over the last few days to Dayakou Villige, Sipaishan, Gengma County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province, Bayi, Lashio in Myanmar, Jiuzhai Village, and more. This has solved a clothing shortage for some economically challenged families.

There are many misfortunate places in Myanmar where people have a low standard of living and their financial condition is poor, which has resulted in inadequate food and clothing. When Elder Ruan Guangjie, the person in charge of Pillar Church, learned this, he generously set an example and encouraged believers to donate clothes. The entire congregation responded positively. Some even bought new clothes from the market to donate while some supported the shipping cost. Everyone worked together to sort the clothes. There were even senior believers over 70 years old who pitched in to help with packing and consignment.

Local Lashio refugees were very excited to receive the clothes, saying "China is great! Christianity is great!"
