Recently, some netizens published 70-year-old handwritten medical records written by Lin Chao-chin in 1946, the founder of modern Chinese obstetrics and gynecology.

The five-page medical records, half in Chinese and the other half in English, were well written with details. The 38th anniversary of her death was also on hot search.

In addition to these medical records, netizens also found another birth certificate with the baby's footprints and the English signature of "Lin Chao-chin". As the parents had not thought about the name of the baby, "Yuan child" was signed on the paper as the birth registration information. Later, this "Yuan child" had a formal name, Yuan Longping, known as the "Worldwide Father of Hybrid Rice". At that time, Lin was only 27 years old, graduating from Peking Union Medical College with a doctorate in medicine.

As the founder of modern Chinese obstetrics and gynecology, Lin never married all her life but was known as the "mother of ten thousand infants", for having delivered more than 50,000 babies. In addition to performing midwifery for Yuan Longping, she also treated Deng Yingchao, the wife of Premier Chou En-lai, helping many patients get rid of the pain of disease.

Born in Gulangyu, Xiamen, Fujian, on December 23, 1901, she passed away in Beijing on April 22, 1983.
