Guizhou Ethnic Heritage on Exhibit in Beijing

In light of its 60th founding anniversary as a prefecture, an exhibition is currently being held in the Cultural Palace of Nationalities in Beijing was launched on Monday featuring the history of the Qiandongnan Miao and Dong autonomous prefecture. Qiandongnan has 276 villages included in the national list of traditional villages and most of the residents of the region are Non-Han, comprising 80.2% of the total 4.63 million population.

The exhibition will only be featured for one week; highlighting the prefecture's development in an economic, social, ecological and cultural fronts.

The expo would also be featuring tourist promotions and performances, featuring the ethnic arts done in the prefecture.
