Pokémon Go is the most trending game ever since its official release last month and its fans in Asia do not need to wait any much longer as the augmented-reality location-based game went live to 15 Asian countries.
According to Tech Crunch, countries enjoying the new hit game include Papua New Guinea, ,Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Fiji, Federated States of Micronesia, Solomon Islands, , Brunei and Palau.
The game's release in the said counties means that the Pokémon Go game is now available in more than 50 countries worldwide. However, mobile gamers from India, China and Korea have still not been able to experience the official version of the most talked about game.
India could have been one of the most highly successful markets for this game as according to one report, the smartphone sales in India are increasingly doubling the percentage among its population of 1.2 billion people.
In China, in spite of the fact that Chinese is known to be mobile gamers, the country's strict regulations are coming in the way for the official release of Pokémon Go. Google Maps is reported to be banned in China and since the game relies on the location for functioning, it could be really a challenging one to enter the Chinese market.
According to Pokemon Go CEO, John Hanke, the security concerns over Google Maps in Korea are the main reason why the game has not been released in the country.
Pokémon Go was first launched in the United States on July 6. The smah-hit title has already crossed over 100 million downloads.
