On Wednesday, Nintendo announced in its official Twitter account that the release of the wearable accessory or Pokemon Go plus will not be released until September.
The device was supposed to be released at the end of July; however, the delay has taken place. While no details have been revealed regarding the delay, analysts guess that the popularity of the game has caused Nintendo to reconsider the number of units that will be available for the market.
Pokemon Go Plus will be compatible for both Android and iOS and will be around $34.99 each. The system will allow users to play the game without having their smartphones out to spot Pokemon. The unit is Bluetooth-connected and can be worn either as a brooch or with a wrist strap. It will ight up when a Pokemon or a PokeStop is closeby.
