On May 28th, Longcheng Church hosted an Elderly Cloud fellowship event to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in advance.

To enhance the overall qualities of Yiwu's full-time and volunteer pastors, a training session was held at New Grace Church on May 21-23.

A full-time grassroots minister shared two major transitions in which he longed for training and learning opportunities in a difficult, stagnant situation but had no access to them.

Pastor Shen, who has been engaged in ministry in northern China for more than two decades, shared his insights on effective preaching. He emphasized that a good sermon should have a clear central thread, incorporate interaction, relevant content, and personal experience, and be rooted in sound theology. Most importantly, he stressed the importance of continual practice to enhance the sermon’s resonance with the audience and better connect it to their daily lives.

As several Christians women were absent in church gatherings due to the wrong conception that wearing skirts to church was inappropriate, Elder Li implemented a reform by modifying the choir’s attire.

A church library’s function goes far beyond simple reading. It is another field for nurturing believers and pastors, and it forms a Christian knowledge service system.

For decades, the global Christian community has faithfully prayed for the church in China. From concerns over religious freedom to hopes for mission breakthroughs among unreached people groups, intercessors have stood in the gap for Chinese believers. Yet while prayer points have been many, the voices of Chinese Christians themselves are less often heard.

Pastor Shen, a longtime minister in northern China, recently shared his insights into why many young people are reluctant to pursue ministry. Citing financial hardship and a lack of hope for the future, he urged church leaders to care for young believers as they would their own children—nurturing not only their spiritual growth but also responding to the real-life struggles they face.

Perhaps the greatest gift AI can offer to the church is to bring us back to the very foundation of our faith: when all external technologies and packaging are stripped away, could what remains be a heart that earnestly looks to the Lord alone?
