On July 11, 2018, the memorial service for Teddy Hung or Hung Hon-yee, a former gang leader of 14K Triad, was held in Hong Kong.

On June 16, the pastor of ex-triad members died of cancer at the age of 70 in a hospital of Hong Kong, said his worker on Facebook.

People who knew him released their pictures with him on social networking sites to mourn him, expecting to meet him again in the heaven someday. Many Christians in mainland China demonstrated the regard they had for the familiar triad-boss-turned-preacher on social media, recalling his testimony videos.

In the service,  his gospel ministry parnter Dr. Liu Tafang, president of Jubilee Ministries, and his pastor Rev. Mo Shujian, senior pastor of Evangelical Free Church of China Victory Church, gave speeches to remember him. His family addressed that they wanted to present the gospel through his life turning testimony according to his will.

Keen in witnessing Jesus, Hung shared his experiences in the heaven and hell many times, but a few Christians questioned whether his descriptions of the heaven and hell were in accordance with the Bible.

Before 2002, Hung was the previously most powerful gang leader in Hong Kong who established the largest Asian underworld with around 1 million members across the world. He announced to be against Jesus. Twelve years later, the bold gang boss finally surrendered to Jesus' love and became an enthusiastic messenger of the Gospel despite a six-year struggle with Jesus. He founded the largest church for gangs in Hong Kong and helped gangsters quit drugs, dreaming to witness for the Lord all over the world.
