Registered Christian communities recently convened provincial and municipal Christian conferences to elect new leadership teams.
From November 5 to 7, the Seventh Provincial Christian Conference of Anhui Province took place in Hefei City, bringing together 138 church representatives from across the province. During the conference, the new committee, standing committee, and leadership of Anhui Provincial CC&TSPM were elected. Rev. Xue Lianxi was appointed chairperson of the Anhui Provincial Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), while Rev. Cui Yingpei was named president of the Anhui Provincial Christian Council (CC). Additionally, the first Board of Supervisors of Anhui Provincial CC&TSPM was established, with Rev. Zhang Lingtong chairing.
On November 11–12, the 11th Municipal Christian Conference of Changsha, the capital of Hunan Province, convened with 55 representatives from across the city in attendance. The conference elected the new committee, standing committee, and leadership team of Changsha Municipal CC&TSPM. Rev. Huang Kegang was chosen as chairperson of the Changsha Municipal Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM), while Rev. Ren Xia was appointed president of the Changsha Municipal Christian Council (CC).
From November 14 to 15, the 13th Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Christian Conference was held in Nanning, the region's capital. The meeting was attended by representatives from the region, leaders from the provincial Buddhist Association, Taoist Association, Islamic Association, and Catholic Patriotic Association, as well as relevant government officials, with a total of 140 participants. During the conference, the leadership of the 13th Guangxi TSPM and the 9th Guangxi CC was elected. Rev. Wang Conglian was elected as chairperson of Guangxi TSPM, and Rev. Xiao Jifu was appointed as president of Guangxi CC.
From November 20 to 22, the ninth Guizhou Provincial Christian Conference convened in Guiyang, with 150 representatives from cities and prefectures across the province in attendance. The conference elected new leadership and the Board of Supervisors. Rev. Luo Yingfu was re-elected as chairperson of Guizhou Provincial TSPM, with Rev. Zhou Shizhong, Rev. Lin Li, Rev. An Yongfa, Rev. Sun Sicong, and Rev. Li Yun serving as vice chairpersons, and Rev. Luo Yalan appointed as general secretary. Rev. Yang Mingxiang was re-elected as president of Guizhou Provincial CC, with Rev. Yan Linbin, Rev. Chen Xueyan, Rev. Yang Mingzhang, Rev. Zhu Dayu, and Rev. Yang Zezhao elected as vice presidents. Rev. Yan Linbin also assumed the role of general secretary. Additionally, Rev. Yang Chaoyun was elected as chairperson of the Board of Supervisors.
On November 25, the Christian community in Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province, convened the 12th Conference of the Liaoyang Committee of the Three-Self Patriotic Movement and the 4th Conference of the Municipal Christian Council. A total of 55 representatives from various Christian activity sites across the city attended. During the meeting, the new committee and leadership team of Liaoyang CC&TSPM were elected through voting and a show of hands. Rev. Wang Yunshu, vice chairperson of the Liaoning Provincial TSPM, was elected as chairperson of Liaoyang TSPM and president of Liaoyang CC. Elder Ma Hongjun was elected as vice chairperson of the municipal TSPM, while Elder Zhang Jinfang was elected as vice president of the municipal CC. Rev. Zhang Na was appointed general secretary of Liaoyang TSPM, and Rev. Liu Xiaoju was appointed general secretary of Liaoyang CC.
From December 16 to 17, the 12th Provincial Christian Conference of Guangdong Province convened in Guangzhou, with 140 representatives from 21 cities across the province in attendance. The conference elected the 12th Guangdong Provincial TSPM, the 10th Guangdong Provincial CC, the standing committee, the leadership, and the Board of Supervisors. Rev. Guo Yun was elected chairperson of Guangdong TSPM, Rev. Cai Bosheng was appointed president of Guangdong CC, and Rev. Fan Hongen was elected chairperson of the Board of Supervisors.
