On March 30, Yunnan Provincial CC&TSPM ordained seven ethnic minority clergymen as elders in the presence of over 300 believers at Beohe Town Church in Weixi County, Diqing Prefecture, Yunnan Province.
According to CCC&TSPM, the ceremony was presided over by Rev. Deng Jianwei, president of the provincial Christian Council. During the service, seven Lisu ethnic minority church workers were ordained as elders, and the commissioning of preachers was also conducted.
