Nine church staff were ordained as pastors or elders in Shandong Province.
On April 13, an ordination ceremony took place at Jingsi Road Church, Ji'nan. Nine workers from the churches in Ji'nan, Tai'an, and Zaozhuang were ordained, four as pastors and the rest as elders.
Rev. Wu Jianyin, counselor to the provincial CC&TSPM, gave a sermon titled "Used by the Lord" to exhort the candidates and participants in the ceremony.
More than 500 people attended the ceremony in which the choir of Jingsi Road Church and the senior undergraduates of Shandong Theological Seminary presented anthems.
