Qichun Church was recently dedicated in Qichun County, Huanggang, Hubei Province.
According to Hubei Provincial CC&TSPM, Elder Sun delivered a sermon titled "The Wilderness Becomes a Temple," based on Genesis 28:10-22, during the thanksgiving worship service. At the celebration, Rev. Wu Guomin, the church's senior pastor, presented a report on the construction process and offered a testimony of gratitude.
Subsequently, in his address, Rev. Zhu Zhiguo, chairperson of the provincial TSPM and president of Zhongnan Theological Seminary, commended the diligent efforts made by Qichun Church in completing the construction. He expressed hope that the church would continue to follow the path of the sinicization of Christianity in its governance and draw on the cultural identities of the "Hometown of Li Shizhen" and the "Capital of Chinese Mugwort" to integrate Christianity with traditional Chinese culture.
Following the dedication ceremony, church choirs presented dances and songs of praise in gratitude.
