CCC&TSPM Holds Training for Ethnic Preachers in Guizhou

Since August 16, CCC&TSPM held a ten-day training program for 130 bilingual preachers from the churches of ethnic minorities. From Yunnan, Guizhou and Guangxi, they are good at both Chinese and their respective ethnic languages.

The training included the study of the spirit of the national conference on religions, the sinicization of Christianity, social service, systematic theology, church management, pastoral psychology, homiletics and ethics.

According to the local authority, the training was done to help the church of ethnic minorities develop and promote the sinicization of Christianity. Fu Xianwei, the president of TSPM, Kan Baoping, the vice chairman of CCC , and other national and provincial officials attended the opening ceremony of the program. 

Last year, about 140 preachers from minority areas attended the training for the first time.
