On April 6, 2019, the church in Wudu District, Longnan, Gansu province will hold a long-distance walk during the three-day Tomb-Sweeping or Qingming Festival.

The congregation of Wudu Church, workers from local churches nearby and meeting points as well as friends of believers are invited to join the activity.

Participants will walk about 7.5 kilometers. The journey will start from a wetland park to a tourist center by a famous cave.

Tomb-Sweeping Day or Qingming Festival falls on the 15th day from the Spring Equinox. During that time, Chinese families pay respect to their ancestors by cleaning the gravesites, praying to them, and making ritual offerings.
