Jiangsu County Church Holds Emergency Rescue Training

On August 22, 2019, the Xiangshui County Three-Self Patriotic Movement (TSPM) of Yancheng, Jiangsu held the first emergency rescue training session.

According to Xiangshui Church, the participants included a local TSPM pastor and 50 workers.

Captain Gao Shuibao, a deputy leader of the county's Red Cross volunteer service team and also an American Heart Association instructor for emergency rescue, was the main speaker. He explained earthquake escape and relevant operations, CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation), airway obstruction by foreign bodies and trauma nursing. Gao and his team have so far conducted 11 training sessions for the local church.

After the session, the attendees took part in the graduation exam and each successful candidate received an emergency rescue certificate from the county-level Red Cross.
