A four-day international postdoctoral workshop on the history of Christianity in East Asia is now accepting applications.

Entitled "Historical Legacies of Christianity in East Asia: Bridging a New Generation of Scholars and Scholarship," the workshop will be held at the University of Warsaw, Poland, from October 28 to 31, according to one of the hosts, the Ricci Institute for Chinese-Western Cultural History at Boston College, USA, which is in collaboration with the Faculty of Oriental Studies at the University of Warsaw.

The workshop, conducted in English, will feature three key components: a series of lectures and seminars, discussions with senior editors and scholars on the process of publishing a scholarly monograph, and one-on-one mentoring sessions with senior academics in a forum.

Following the workshop, participants will take part in "a two-day visit to historical sites and other academic programs related to the history of Christianity in Kraków."

Eligible applicants include postdoctoral scholars and junior faculty members whose research focuses on Christianity in East Asia and who are currently preparing an English-language book manuscript for publication.

Applicants must submit their resumes, statements outlining their book manuscripts, and letters of recommendation by May 23, with results to be announced by the end of June 2025.

The Ricci Institute at Boston College will cover transportation and lodging expenses for selected participants.
